First of many . . .

Seeing Kit's (Dreamscribe Designs) coffee mug inspired me!
I had so much fun doing this ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art)
and the great thing is ~
is that I have already received orders!

  1. That's gorgeous! I love the way you've used Hollibaugh as your string (I keep meaning to have a play with that idea). And it's paradoxical too - because, with completely straight lines (Hollibaugh) you've created (once it's inside the lining) curvy lines!! What a great mug. (And many thanks for the shout out, too.) xoxo

  2. I found another source where you can purchase these cups that accepts inserts you can display your artwork while you enjoy your favorite drink. Oriental Trading or orientaltrading.com.

The cups cost 12.95 for 6 of them. Once you get one catalog or order from them, you'll get catalogs forever. This is a great shop if you also like scrapbooking and/or bead work. They sell some of the cutest glass beads. They have some that looks like Sushi! Some are baseballs, footballs, soccer balls or footballs, some are monkeys or panda bears (just the head). Some beads are the shape of tea cups or fruit, etc. Check out this website. They sell all kinds of crafts in different themes and seasons.

Also, Mary Elizabeth, I just went in your Etsy Shop and ordered a pack of your tangle cards. Most of them are blanks, but do you include the first few with your earlier tangles pre-printed on them?

  3. I did one of these a few months ago and I love it! (this is my first visit to your site, so I was delighted to see it on here!) :)
